A few years ago, my partner and I were in the same place you might be right now: trying to force a wedding to fit into our lives instead of building a day that actually reflected us. We toured venues, stretched our budget, and bent over backwards to make everyone happy—except ourselves.
Eventually, we hit a wall and asked the question no one encourages you to ask: what if we just let it all go? So we did.

We booked flights, eloped in the Faroe Islands, and spent two weeks honeymooning through Europe. We explored Iceland and Scandinavia, lived in luxury, ate like royalty, and soaked in the freedom to just be. It was the kind of adventure we’d always dreamed of—and it changed everything.
